I’m a Certified Plant-Based Nutrition Coach with two certifications from NASM & Cornell University. As a coach, my mission is to help others learn to love their mind and body while giving them the tools to thrive on a vegan lifestyle. I want to be the person I wish I had to guide me when I started my vegan and health journey.

I was always the “chubby” one growing up. I went through every fad diet, which ultimately led me to develop an eating disorder and an unhealthy relationship with food. I felt so lost for so many years.

At first, I went vegan for the animals but little did I know it would change my life completely. Going vegan helped me regain a healthy relationship with food, overcome my eating disorder, and learn to love myself unconditionally while also falling in love with fitness and health.

From a young age, I knew going vegan was how I wanted to live. But due to my culture, I faced many struggles with this, as my friends and family didn’t understand. Vegan wasn’t even in my parents’ vocabulary! Going vegan in an unwelcoming environment can be challenging but not impossible. I knew my love for animals was stronger than others’ opinions. Another mission of mine is to show people that you don’t have to give up your culture to become vegan. I have never missed a year making tamales Guatemaltecos con mi mama! And through the years, by leading by example, my friends and family have become more aware of their dietary decisions and now love vegan food!
